Here is another fabulous recipe for my week of side dishes that pair well with almost any meal and a great addition to your tailgate menu. These beans are packed with flavor and a little heat they reheat and travel well for parties and gettogethers.
First, wash and trim 1 lb. of green beans and roast or steam until crisp tender.
While beans are cooking mince 2 cloves of garlic and get out your pepperoncino (red pepper flakes).
Melt butter over med heat until it browns, watch carefully so it does not burn but becomes brown and develops a nutty flavor.
Once Butter is a rich brown color, pour into a heat proof container and set aside.
After pouring butter into a heat proof container, turn down the heat to med/low and put garlic in the pan and a pinch of pepperoncino (more if you like the heat). Only cook garlic until fragrant, be careful not to brown or over cook. Turn off the heat and add browned butter back to the pan to heat up.
Once butter is heated, pour over green beans and toss to completely combine the butter, garlic, and pepperoncino. Salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy and happy cooking!
