Sometimes the simplest recipes are the best ones to make like these Rosemary & Garlic Country Style Spare Ribs. Who knew an inexpensive cut of pork could taste so fabulous? This recipe is so simple because all you do is season the country style spare ribs on both sides and roast them in the oven until they are perfectly brown and delicious. Here’s how to make them:
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Place the country style spare ribs on a foil lined shallow rimmed baking sheet. Mix together in a bowl: 4 tablespoons of ground dried rosemary, 1 tablespoon sea salt, 1 tablespoon of black pepper, and 1 tablespoon of granulated garlic (not garlic powder). Mix the spices well, and sprinkle all over both sides of the pork pressing the spice mix into the meat. Place into a 350 degree preheated oven for 50-60 minutes until they are a rich brown and the meat pulls away from the rib bones as shown in the photo below.
Once ribs are done, tent with foil and allow to rest for about ten minutes. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve. At our house, we like to serve pork with unsweetened applesauce.
